Workout while busy like Amy Schumer
Amy Schumer’s Trainer gives her fitness details for the busy bee!
Amy Schumer is known for spreading body positivity and self-love all over social media. This year she spoke about being comfortable at a size 8 and added that she is not plus size! Amy, like other celebrities is showing us that we can stay fit while maintaining a busy schedule!
According to PopSugar, Harley Pasternak, works with Amy and was blown away by how active she is, saying, “I’m very, very proud of her… She transformed herself!”
So how do we get to stay fit and keep up with our busy life?
According to Pasternak, staying active outside of the gym is key. “Amy lives by the idea ‘Strong in the gym, lean in life” He adds, “She keeps her workout super brief and stays active through the rest of the day”
He also states that Schumer is always on the move! “When she was training with us for Trainwreck, she put on her Fitbit and walked super far to the studio, walked to a cool hike and then walked back to her hotel. “ Talk about walking a mile in her shoes! Her trainer says “She get 15k steps done in the first half of the day and does a whole morning’s worth of work… If she can do it, anyone can.”
There are many easy workout we can do with a busy schedule:
· Just at home? When you go outside to pick up your morning newspaper take a 5- minute power walk up the street.
· Stuck waiting at the doctors? Walk around the building if there’s a long wait time.
· While your child is at a game/sporting event, walk around the field.
· At work? Try walking to work if you can. “I walked to work for months, 1 ½ miles each way” says Mary Dallman, PhD, and she saw results.
· When you’re watching TV. Do leg exercises and lifts with small weights while watching tv.
· Stuck in the airport? During layover at airports, avoid the moving walkways and walk around the concourse as much as you can.
