Try freeing up extra cash for the 4th
TAKE THE CHALLENGE
Hey everyone. Welcome back. The 4th of July is here and we are planning many festivities and fun activities for the family. Also, freeing up extra cash is something that can help in our everyday lives.
Many of us could use some additional cash to add to the budget for the weekend. Where is this cash going to come from you ask. That’s great question.
And here is how you do it: You take a 90-Minute Challenge.
The 90-Minute Challenge is very simple. You take a look at bills you are already paying that can be reduced in 90 minutes. The cable bill for example is notorious for getting out of control. You start off with that incredible promotion and in 6 months you are paying one hundred to two hundred dollars for cable service after the end of the promotion. Another area where you can save is your meal budget, or I should say your meal splurging budget. There is no question you love to eat however, You can’t successfully complete the 90-Minute Challenge without taking a look at the cash that adds up by eating out too much and of course that cup of Jo every day. And ladies, the shoes… no further comment needed! Just remember society realizes you need your shoes but you can’t cash them all in later to equal your retirement. Just a little humor ladies.
By taking a look at the areas in you daily budget where you may be overspending, like taxes, insurance, media and especially leisure, you can bring money back into your household. And what do we do with that extra cash we now have? Simple… The difference between saving $150 dollars per month and $300 dollars per month over the course of 40 years is $707,465 dollars compared to $1,414,929 dollars respectively, That’s a huge difference!!!, (Based on a hypothetical not an actual investment at a rate of 9%).Which would you rather have?
So everyone, have an awesome 4th of July. Celebrate safely and to learn more about the 90-Minute Challenge and other key financial concepts reach out to us or leave a comment and we will get back to you.
See you next week!
