Threatening to quit a job over a coworker’s actions?

Reports that Giuliana Rancic of Fashion Police on E! news offended actress Zendaya, by saying

“her hair looks like it smells like weed or petroliana oil.”

As a result, the entire world decided to tweet and express that they were highly offended by her comments. Most people considered Giuliana’s remarks to be borderline racist or discriminative.

After these tweets were sent out, coworker Kelly Osburne was said to be threatening to quit if Giuliana didn’t publicly apologize. Does she have a right to parade around threatening to quit a job over a coworker’s actions?

I’m sure you have been in a situation when you’ve worked with a co-worker that said something offensive. There’s plenty of times when you’re at work and get off topic and talk about some personal subjects. This is when you really get to know who your co-worker is and exactly what type of character they are. Threatening to quit a job over a coworker’s actions may have not been the best decision but it may be one to think about. Have you ever threaten to quit your job over a co-worker’s behavior?

What type of actions would make you quit?
