Securing your Financial Future
The Importance of Securing your Financial Future
You have limited time in life and limited money so you cannot waste either of them. The importance of utilizing your time and effort into creating a stable financial future is ever more important.
You know about the crises in Greece and if you don’t know you have probably heard a friend or co-worker talking about it recently.
A recent report from the BBC Explains:
Banks in Greece have been closed for more than a week and people who live there limited to getting no more than 60 Euro from cash machines.
That happened after the European Central Bank, which has been giving Greece money, decided not to give them any more.
They did this because Greece couldn’t reach an agreement with them.
Furthermore:
If Greece were to completely run out of money, it would cause huge problems for all the countries and banks in Europe, because they would lose all the money they lent to Greece.
Britain’s affected too, even though it doesn’t use the Euro.
Because European countries buy so much of our stuff, what happens to those countries would affect Britain too.
Although this problem may be on a larger scale than you as an individual you will notice the effects when it comes to things like inflation for example.
So in order to avoid these ripple effects here are a few tips for your financial success.
Start saving, the right way, now. The earlier you start your savings/investment the more “Doubling Periods” you will have.Don’t live above your means. Even your morning Starbucks addiction could be costing you more than you know. According to a recent survey, most people spend $1,000 a year on takeout coffee. If that money were instead invested for retirement, you could increase your total retirement savings by more than $100,000, depending on your savings rate, the return rate on your investment and your time horizon.
Happy Friday!!
See you next week
