Food recipes for two
I just came home from a long day at work and as always my girlfriend was already asking what we were going to eat for dinner. I had some whiting in the freezer and figured I could whip something up around that. I pulled the fish out along with potatoes and brown rice. I wanted to make a fast dish because we were starving, however, I didn’t want to leave out the best flavors. I decided to incorporate ground flax seed in this meal in place of bread crumbs because they’re so good for you. Remember, they prevent liver disease, depression, hypertension and so much more.
So here’s what we worked out in the kitchen:
Baked (wild caught) whiting fish breaded with flax seed and seasoned with salt, pepper, cilantro, and feta cheese
Boiled cut potatoes seasoned with italian herbs and olive oil
Steamed and fluffed brown rice
Muy simple!
