Chobani Yogurt Joins the Stand Against Trump
Founder of Chobani Yogurt, Hamdi Ulukaya joins several other companies in the stand against Pres. Trumps travel ban. This has hit close to home for Ulukaya, as he is an immigrant from Turkey and many of his employees are immigrants. Chobani Yogurt was founded in 2007 in New York by Ulukaya, at that time he started off with only 5 employees. Since then, his company has grown into a million dollar company, providing jobs for over 2000 people throughout the United States. Like other immigrants, Ulukaya came to America for better opportunity and he indeed found it. However, with the travel ban that Pres. Trump has put in place it contradicts everything Ulukaya once thought he could find in this free world. Although the ban has taken effect, Ulukaya made a vow to his company that he will do everything in his power to help his employees.
Originating from his country Turkey, Ulukaya incorporated the Turkish-style strained ingredients into making Chobani Yogurt. If you’re a yogurt lover, then surely you have tasted this delicious Greek yogurt. Known for its rich smooth thick texture, Chobani Yogurt is one of the better known healthier yogurts in the food market. You can choose from different flavored or get it plain. When eating Greek yogurt some of the benefits you can expect are:
• Twice the protein
• Low in Carbohydrates
• Easy to Digest
• Versatility
• Texture
• Probiotics
• Weight loss
As you can see, Chobani Yogurt is not just any ordinary tasty snack. With all of it’s rich nutrients, Greek yogurt has become an essential when it comes to eating healthy. Due to numerous immigrants who are employed within the company, the current travel ban could put a delay in the production of the Greek yogurt Chobani. We hope that CEO Ulukaya and the rest of the companies joining forces can make a difference with taking a stand for what they believe.
