As a mom things get way to overwhelming and we never carve out time for us and what makes us happy, however we are the best source for advertisers to figure out what they should be selling. There are so many ideas we come up with, that can be huge successful products because we know exactly who will buy it. Some of the things you can think about when starting your own business as a mom:
- No one is an expert! IF you know this is something you are extremely passionate about then pursue it. Nothing beats passion.
- Plan for a babysitter while working on your business. You still have to carve time out to yourself in order to get the job done.
- Get the most out of your pregnancy while the baby isn’t here yet.
- Think about how you will work around getting health insurance to cover you and baby.
- Do your market research. This may take a while but it’s safer to go in prepared.
- Don’t feel guilty. One of the hardest things to do is spend time without your child. Focus on the fact that this will help your child’s future in so many ways.
- Mommy support groups are always a good thing and if you need extra advice or women to bounce ideas off of.
- Set boundaries for when you plan to work and plan to spend time with baby. Do not mix the two of these, as things can easy get mistreated.
