YoChecka originally launched in 2015 as a vlog about healthy mindset through celebrities, influencers, and healthy brands. It now has spun into a multimedia digital marketing platform to help others grow their brands.

Founded by Checka Cee, who worked as a radio broadcaster for a number of years interviewing and working with major celebrities and major brands all over the country. She started her career in the promotions department and always had a love for marketing. In fact, she ran a non profit events planning company a number of years ago to help companies put together events to raise money for their non profit.

Checka has covered major events, from Soul Train awards, to BET awards, Latina magazine  expo, to yoga expo, and NYC fashion week. And marketing a number of concerts,  and major events, from Madison Square Garden to the State farm arena. Once she launched Yochecka, she built great partnerships with major healthy brands like Schwinn, Pink barre, emeals, Kind bar and many more. Yochecka has also created major community relationships to help raise funds for nonprofits like, Big Brother Big sister of Atlanta, American Red Cross, American Diabetes association, and Susan G. Koman.

Checka has been on numerous panels to speak about entrepreneurship, marketing yourself on social media, healthy mindset, and women in media. She has also taught and trained youth programs with her own journalism/marketing program under Snapback Journey for youth- a program that was started to help youth grow confidence through journalism and marketing.

She now has a podcast with healthy conversation called “Snapback Journey” powered by Yochecka focusing on helping women get their Snapback through their struggles to ultimately create a healthy mindset, hustle, and brand. Checka has a marketing course called Snapback Journey. The course focuses on helping others work on a healthy mindset, hustle, and building a brand. She designed the course to show others how they too can grow a brand by leveraging digital marketing. While designing the course Checka was pregnant with gestational diabetes and later added her Snapback Journey Cookbook to compliment the course. The book helps with the healthy mindset portion of the course and has healthy recipes to combat gestational diabetes and get your snapback!  Read it
