Snapback your advocacy and leadership

Checka Cee chats with Shemeka Frazier- Sorrells, advocate and leader, working as a consultant the child welfare system by day and running her non profit organization by night. Her non profit was founded through the tragic event and hate crime against Ahmaud Arbery two years ago.  Full circle, Shemeka and her team have lead the way in Glynn county community where she now has moved, hoping to seek justice and educate better leaders into the justice system and beyond.  As a new mom Shemeka shares the struggles of trying to juggle family plus community. It is a bitter sweet situation, because her 7 month year old daughter has to share mom’s time committed to the community and on the flip side gets to learn to advocate for her community from one of the greatest leaders, her mom.
