Celebrities team for Diabetes Dance Dare
Omari Hardwick, Keke Palmer, Shaquille Oneal, Usher, and Nature Naughton have all decided to dance for diabetes and Team YoChecka has accepted the challenge. We have come together in the Diabetes Dance Dare challenge to spread the word about the silent disease that affects millions of Americans daily. The American Diabetes Association has everyone dancing across the country in effort to support the move. We know Usher has challenged Justin Bieber, Kevin Hart, and Kyrie Irving, so there should definitely been some hot dance moves approaching your gram soon. It is said that 1 out of 11 Americans have diabetes and every 23 seconds a new person is diagnosed with it. That is a very large number of people who could benefit from this cause. Although genetic diabetes is very difficult to avoid, there are many preventive measures you can take to delay the progress of diabetes.
Having a healthy diet plan is always key when it comes to what you put into your body. When people here the word “diet” they automatically think leafy foods, with a dry texture and no flavor. That doesn’t have to be the case when it comes to eating healthy, eliminating foods that hold a lot of sugar is one way to change your eating habits. Staying active also helps. Whether you’re taking a walk around the neighborhood or riding a bike in the park, keeping your blood moving is great way to keep diabetes away. Get plenty of rest, it is said people who have diabetes tend to find themselves low on energy. This is because the glucose in the body gets store incorrectly resulting in the cells starving of energy. Eat, stay active and rest are all ways to prevent or slow down the progress of diabetes.
