Sweat it Out!!!
Now that pollen season is behind us, it’s the perfect time to try a new workout routine by taking it outdoors. It is said that working out outside has all kinds of health benefits, so don’t fret the heat. Exercising outside may improve energy levels and decrease stress to a greater extent than working out indoors. Now if you’re a person that just can’t get down with the outdoor workout, there are still benefits of working out in doors so no need to sweat it.
According to recent research, outside exercises come with many benefits. Reports show that people who commit to outdoor workouts feel more relaxed, re-energized and revitalized. Some other perks of getting your sweat on outside are gaining a sense of vitality, feeling more enthused and alive. Have fun with nature and see what it has to offer you, you’re definitely guaranteed to work up a sweat by being outside. Along with all the other perks, your Vitamin D intake increases. Now I know you’re probably wondering how is Vitamin D gained by working out outdoors. Well, research has shown that gaining at least 5-30 minutes of sun exposure can increase your Vitamin D intake which is good for attaining stronger bones and a healthier immune system. Don’t forget your important essentials when working out outdoors. You will need sunscreen and staying hydrated with plenty of water!
If you’re still not feeling the outdoors as much then you can always continue to workout inside and it will still be beneficial. Studies have found that those who have a hard time sticking to their workout routine tend to have a hard time staying consistent outside of the gym. So that means if you have a workout partner or trainer to guide you through your workouts, keep going, inside would probably work best for you.
Whether you’re getting your sweat on inside a gym or outside at the park, finding time to work out is always a great way to stay fit and healthy. After a hard sweaty work out don’t forget to stop by your local VitaminShoppe to get a re-boost  with one of their delicious protein drinks that will keep your energy going.
