Tips for an Awesome Valentines, without Breaking your Budget

Valentine’s Day is the day you get to put your heart out there on the line with any inhibition and without any fears, because you and everyone else you know is looking for a Valentine.

That being said… you need a date right? And of course you need to achieve this successful date without breaking the bank. A successful Valentine’s Day date is one that you don’t have to stress about after you wake up the next day. I’m sure you would all agree…

So here are some tips to help you, Wow your date but not have you eating ramen noodles till your next paycheck. Plus gents, the ladies love a man that can be creative and capture the moments that make her feel special, so going for the creative rather than the extravagant may get you a couple of extra brownie points.

So here is what you do:

  • If you are still in the beginning faze of your dating experience go for what brings you closer together like the whole in the wall pizza place that servers awesome pizza and wings. If you want creative “wow factor” take your date to a place like the planetarium,  viewing the stars together can be very romantic. You can set a day event like a picnic as well to get additional points and have an intimate setting to get to know each other better.
  • Don’t splurge on expensive jewelry. Buying those gifts on Birthdays or Christmas will make a bigger impact.
  • You can stay in for the night and rent some romantic love flicks to set the mood. And an even bigger show stopper is, gentlemen…, offer to cook dinner for her. You will save money and make her feel like a queen by serving her an awesome intimate dinner.

Being creative on Valentine’s Day can really do wonders for your long term relationship or your knew blossoming relationship and it can all be done within your budget. Breaking the bank to achieve a superficially extravagant night is not necessary when the simple things get you the most out of this special day. Not to say that spending a little is a bad thing…ladies, not trying to deter the fellas from splurging on you guys, just trying to make sure that his lights are on and the rents paid and he is not asking you for help next month. You know what I mean. Lol!
