Coping with cancer

David Bowie passed away this year after battling cancer for18 months. He was a man of various talents, who inspired many, and created his own musical path. He was widely known for his  dramatic musical transformations, and the way he influenced a lot of musical genres. If you or someone you know are someone are fighting cancer, there are many positive tips to keep your head up, and your heart strong. However, not all coping mechanisms will work for you. Here are some suggestions that may help in a positive way.

#1 Accepting it.
Acceptance goes a long way. It can give you peace, and give you the right mind set to go about your situation.

#2 Support from loved ones.
Friends and family are a big part of your life. Don’t shut them out, you will need all the positive vibes and love you can get, and it’ll be good to talk to someone about all the struggles you are going through.

#3 Healthy lifestyle.
Try to participate in some activities you enjoy, or get some physical exercise in.

#4 Be prepared.
Prepare your  mind and your body for all the physical changes that you are about to go through. It is good to ask your doctor what you are going to expect after you are diagnosed with cancer.

#5 Dealing with the emotions, and side effects of having cancer can be challenging for you mentally, and physically. It can make numerous emotions appear to be more intense for you. This is why you should not go through this alone. It is best to have the help, and support from family, and people who love you.

After people accept that they have cancer, they get a sense of hope. Hope is the strongest medicine that anyone could ever have. Cancer is one of the biggest battles that anyone can go through, remember to never blame yourself. This might be one of those times where you should search for the good even in a terrible time or attempt to be confident as opposed to letting yourself think the worst.

We lost one of the greatest inspirations in music. David Bowie, you will be forever loved, and missed. For those who are going through cancer now, and seek some positive vibes, here are some tips for you. Remember to always stay positive, and never back down!
