Fitting in more food

What’s your best impression of a turkey? If I had sounda-vision you would be cracking up at my impression. Although I’m sure yours is much better.

How about butterflies. Who has them? No, I’m not asking for an impression, but Yo, who gets gitty when a big holiday comes to town. Silly question, but there are quite a few that could care less.
How about this… Is there a secret to fitting in more food? Should we even be fitting in more food? I think there should be 2, count’em, two dinners. Break the meal up so we all don’t float away after that engorged impersonation of a pot belly pig. What about leftovers,  of there are any. I’ve heard some people don’t eat, let alone, save leftovers from Thanksgiving. C’mon say it with me… “Whaaat!?” Yup. It’s true. To each their own I say.

So let’s get back to leftovers. I guess it all depends on what is for leftover. For instance, [insert] (DJ CLUE’s) “That classic” of all Thanksgiving classics, the Turkey sandwhich. I don’t know about you, but I build a mean behemoth of a meal from that as my base. It’s like ~THANKSGIVING, THE SEQUEL~. And my belly is the one sitting with 3D glasses in the center of all seats on matinee night like, “Shhhh, the foods about to start!” HA!

So what’s in this meal of all meals. OK check it. There is going to be leftover bread, turkey, vegetables, dips, and all sorts of side dishes.

Bread
Turkey
Brown Gravy
Sweet potatoes
Stuffing
*all this goes inside the sandwich*

Alternatives:
*No gravy, use cranberry sauce, if neither of the two, use a light coating of mayonnaise
*No sweet potatoes, use sweet potato a la marshmallow, if neither of the two,  improvise with something on the sweeter side. Maybe there were candied Brussel sprouts.
*No stuffing, grab a crunchy side dish and use some of that.

Let’s do this!

In numbered order, Layer it all on top of each other.

#1 Take your fresh leftover italian bread or roll and heat it up on a dry skillet or inside a toaster oven.

#2 White meat turkey will be just fine. Leave it cold.

#3 Warm up the brown gravy

#4 Dash of black pepper *optional*

#5 Warm up the Sweet potatoes

#6 Heat up the stuffing

#7 Add your bread top

Bam! Boom! Voíla !

Enjoy! When you awake just leave your comments below. I’m curious as to what all of you thought and what substitutions you used.
