Make the best of potato

Happy Monday and welcome to the new week! Let’s kick off Monday with a meal that will have you feeling good until we are half way through the week.

Start by boiling your favorite kind of potato. Next, get your griddle ready for the steak and start cooking. Usually we use potato as a basic side but this time we want to bring it into the meal. This is going to make the best of potato!

 

Ingredients

Steak

mozzarella

potato

marinade

brown sugar

pecans

 

You’ll want to also grab a small saucepan and start adding a 1/2 cup of brown sugar and a quarter stick of butter. Once that has all melted together a bit than take that small saucepan off the stove and save for later.

Cut up two thinly sliced pieces of mozzarella cheese. I use mozzarella because it doesn’t over power the marinade. Once the steak is done we will have the marinade drizzled over from the top down.
So here’s the set up from the bottom up. Place your sliced potato on the plate, then the steak on top of the potato, mozzarella, crushed pecans, and now drizzle your marinade on top. It’s heaven on a plate.
