Paula Abdul recently tweeted out to her fans. She was thanking them for retweeted some of the statistics for eating disorders.

Paula Abdul recently teamed up with National Eating disorder Association (NEDA) to record a PSA and be more involved with this cause. The reason for her close association is because she tried to save a friend’s suffering heart. Paula admit she almost lost a close friend due to an eating disorder. Below are some her tweets!

How to help with eating disorders

1. Have and honest and open conversation.
2. Focus on everything else but weight.
3. Do not comment on how your friend looks.
4. Make sure you do not make stereotypical comments about fat or thin people.
5. Express your concern for their health.
6. Ask them if they would like to seek help.
