Why Coffee is not as good as you think…
In the past I’ve joked and said there was a “secret society” of coffee drinkers. However, in the last decade coffee drinkers have boomed to over millions of people, therefore it’s not a secret anymore.
Most people are highly addicted because they believe it gets them through their day and keeps them awake. But the truth is that it’s not really that great for you. Here are a few things you may want to consider the next time you’re standing in line at your favorite coffee shop to quench that addictive crave:
1. Coffee in the morning with no breakfast causes Hydrochloric Acid production that can cause stomach irritation.
2. The acid in coffee bean can cause ulcers, gastritis, IBS and Crohn’s disease.
3. The Caffeine causes some serious acid reflux giving you problems in the future.
4. Heavy coffee drinkers may have difficulty getting enough minerals in their diet. This affects iron absorption in your stomach and particularly your kidneys ability to retain calcium, zinc, magnesium and other important minerals.
5. Acrylamide is a potentially carcinogenic (cancer-causing) substance that forms when coffee beans are roasted at high temperatures.
6. Drinking lots of coffee can promote the release of stress hormones. This increases the heart rate and blood levels, causing the body tension.
That is exactly why coffee is not as good as you think.
