Check list for women buying cars

1. Ask if anything has every been changed…brakes, timing belt, water pump, battery, starter, etc.
2. Start the car and listen for any strange sounds.
3. Let it warm up really good and ask if you can drive it.
4. Run through all gears to see if the transmission is good.
5. Hit the acceleration and see if it feels powerful or does it lag.
6. When your done driving it, park over a spot that has no oil on the ground. Shut the car off then check to see if it leaks.
7. Look under the hood to see how clean the engine has been kept.
8. Check brake fluid, antifreeze, windshield fluid, and power windows.
9. Check if blinkers, headlights,and dome lights to see if they work.
10. Check for spare tires and jack.
11. Check for spare keys
12. Ask for car manual and any service paperwork.
