Happy New year, Merry everything, holidays holiday holidays! Where did they go? Don’t blink, take too long of a breath, and don’t even sneeze. I warn you now. Because by the time it happens, it will be August 31st and we’ll be at Labor day asking ourselves, where did summer 2016 go? So what can you do to make sure this doesn’t happen. I’ll give you a hint, either you have a time machine or you create time for yourself. Here’s another hint, the latter is much more realistic and just a tad bit easier.
Okay okay, what am I getting to you ask. Well look in the mirror and ask yourself why do I find it so hard to prepare myself and be proactive? I ask myself this at least once per week. Because I’m human and there’s plenty of times ish happens and I don’t care to stay focused and want a break from consuming things that are insanely good for the heart and leave me with some green in my pocketbook. Crazy thoughts I know. We’ll it can seem to be, which is okay, but you and I work damn hard to take care ourselves.
In general, putting meals together is hard work. Imagining an amazing body with beach body fitness and creating one can happen, but It takes a whole lot to keep my taste buds entertained. Heck, even after watching K. Heart perform the same joke will eventually get tiring.
All good, loosen up, it’s food. Hence why I went with some off the dome compilation of goodies. Trust me, I’m like the tazmanian devil in the kitchen. Herbs, spices, nuts, berries, they all seem to talk to me and beg to jump in my sandwich. Oh I’m not complaining, it leads me to an intricate placement of food and happiness. Smile baby, we are about to go in!
Glance over to other social media accounts and you’ll get the picture. Maybe accidentally have a light go off because you saw something on Beach Body’s site that will help you make your own beach body happen. Or perhaps, you want to place your own twist to a recipe. This is the beauty of it all.
Simple enough:
Chicken: white or dark and boiled
Easy on the mayo
Some plain yogurt
Cranberries because why ya got to be deuce berry! Or something like that.
Toasted whole grain bread.
Freshest ever dark greens
Oh so ripe tomatoes
Cilantro
Celery
Whatever makes you smile and say mmm!
Spring season and fresh new beginnings are upon us. Take this feeling and run with it. Arms wide open, chest out, deep breathes. New air flows by and so do creative juices.
Blend together your chicken, mayo, and yogurt. Add cranberries, celery, whole cilantro.
Find the best dark greens and layer them quadruple stacked.
Perfect tomatoes lie on top.
Sliced and evenly toasted bread holds it all in.
Bam,…Boom,…. and Voilá!
